ACADEMY

MUNGU Academy is bringing newfound opportunities to young athletes in Africa. We want to make sure each child in our program has access to the training and basic necessities they need to excel in their sport. With your help, we believe we can make a difference in unlocking a new path in life for each player and giving them the tools they need to succeed.

In July of 2022, MUNGU Academy launched with our first group of young, talented soccer players. We are excited for our journey together as we raise them up through soccer, education, and faith. Our goal is to position these kids athletically, intellectually and spiritually for the best chance to play soccer across the globe on scholarship or contract. Their success will, in turn, flow back to their Ugandan families and communities, with the hope of alleviating poverty and creating a greater awareness of their amazing country.

  • Football

    MUNGU is actively recruiting young top talent amongst the soccer community of Africa to find kids with great football ability, as well as a desire to help the world and others.

  • Education

    Developing our kids’ athletic abilities is key to their ultimate success in the world of sports, but we want that to be built upon a foundation of education, literacy, and a genuine love of learning. Along with the addition of vocation skills training, these youth will be positioned for success in what ever path their lives lead them.

  • Faith

    The most important part of it all. This is why MUNGU does what it does. We are here to spread God’s love around the world and we are doing it through one African football player at a time. Teaching kids about the power of God and the love He has for each and every one of us is key to raising these kids up. We want these youth to make a difference in the world, working to spread seeds of love and hope all over the globe. That all starts with teaching them about faith in God.
