Handcrafted by the various women’s communities of Entebbe, Uganda, the Acholi Bead Bracelets are designed and created out of Recycled Newspaper and Magazine, rolled into small beads, dipped in a colorful dye, and waterproofed. The intensity and beauty of each bead is a testament to the communities and people who made them.
Each Acholi Bead Product sold goes towards continuing to help the women in these communities where most women are unable to get real means of making money for their children. MUNGU is working towards keeping families together making sure every family in Entebbe is able to have food at their table.
